Aviation Links
Aviation has been a hobby of mine since I was very young. I've collected some links to various aviation and flight simulation sites.
GaugeDump Program
If you are a Flight Simulator 2000 or 98 panel designer, check out my GaugeDump utility. It takes an existing gauge file and converts it to a nearly complete "C" project. Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to update this program to work for FS2002 or FS2004, so it currently only works for FS2000 and FS98. GaugeDump Home.
My Aircraft
Below is a picture of my own plane, a 1978 Piper Archer II. This one has some more power and is a little better equipped in the avionics department. My former plane was a 1977 Piper Warrior II.

Flight Simulation
When I'm not out flying for real, I enjoy using the Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane. I've tried many times in the past to create replicas of my aircraft in those various sim programs, but usually, before I can get it right, they come out with a new version and I start all over again. Finally with FS2004, I just gave up and purchased the Archer II from Flight One Software, (website). I have to say that I'm really impressed with the plane both from a visual and a performance point of view. This plane really flies about as close to the real thing that I've seen in any version of MSFS. Someone really put a lot of time and care into this flight model. I would recommend their software to anyone looking for realistic versions of real world airplanes.
